This is a nice and fairly easy way to make your BMW Carplay compatible. The installation wasn't too difficult for me, it took me 2 hours in total and everything worked right away. Carplay turns on as soon as you turn on the car. I've only had one connection error in 2 months which is easily fixed. Minor issues are that the Carplay screen has a slight bluish cast so the colors are generally not 100% natural. I just installed this on my 2015 335xi with HK. For the price, it's almost the same as Bimmertech or other versions. All of them are installed in exactly the same way. There are many installation videos out there and you will want to use them because the instructions that come with this one are pretty much useless.
