Yes, you read that right. I'm a man who gave this to my girlfriend for her birthday. She loves it and I LOVE IT. I have a wiry, curly beard so combing it was a painful process (yes, even with a good oil and sandalwood comb) and so many hairs fall out as casualties in my morning war. on knots. I used this AND THE KNOTS DISAPPEARED SO MAGICALLY, and that, my friends, WITHOUT PAIN. As much as I love the feel of beard oil, the smell of sandalwood, and how much this brush looks like a cheap fake TV product, I can't deny my amazing experience with this brush. I am very lucky that I have a beard that can now grow longer!
