Installed as a SPDIF audio extender from the home entertainment system in the living room to my audio/computer room and the route runs under the house. Barely got there due to the nature of the route. I actually had to add a 9ft/3m extension with a Toslink connector on the target. The transmitted sound is clear, without gaps. It actually works better than the old coaxial SPDIF that this cable replaces. The connectors on each end are well made and ensure a solid connection. I would recommend that you protect the connector with tape at the fishing end of your trace to prevent damage or dirt getting into the connector when you crawl under the wire house. I use blue masking tape as it peels off easily and leaves no residue.
