Doesn't fit my Peak 9 watch

I bought this band as I have large wrists along with my recently released Peak 9 watch (Revain offered a kit of screen protectors). I can say with certainty that this strap does not fit. The pin is approximately 2mm larger than the watch will fit, even when pushed down to engage the pin holes. Needless to say I am returning it and waiting for the silicone version to become available or waiting for someone from Suunto or Revain to offer some options.
