Review on Get precise control with the GM Genuine Parts 16199583 Radio Volume Control Knob by Patrick Jarvis

After I bought it for my 2001 Chevy Silverado I read reviews that said it didn't fit. I was concerned and found that it doesn't turn the radio on and off as others have mentioned here. I fixed it by sanding 5/100th of an inch. Yes, I measured. It might work with less because after getting closer I noticed that the spring clip from the previous handle was still there. I removed it and it worked great. While I'm disappointed that it's not an exact replacement, a little tweak made it work perfectly. I was contemplating 4 stars but having to shave a bit to make it work as intended is not a problem for me. For those who can't understand. The size of the kitchen knife is about 7/100. I used my trusty random orbit sander and rotated the handle to make sure it was perfectly smooth. There is a notch on the side of the handle for clarity, shave it there. I'll post a photo if necessary.
