This charging pad is nice and muscular. Holds up pretty well. problems.1. Not suitable for real USB-C fast charging cable/charger. However, this is normal for overnight charging. I've tried a standard Pixel charger/cable and two other cables and chargers/standard USB that can't handle the high charging current. 2. It is very difficult to connect the phone to the connector. Especially when lying in bed at night. I'm using it with a Pixel 2 XL and have added a machined guide bracket (see images) that aligns the phone properly with the base connector. Now I can plug my phone in with my eyes closed. mfr wanted to make it compatible with many phones with basic USB-C ports. Of course, that doesn't make it suitable for both.
