Review on 🌡️ Digital Infrared Non-Contact Forehead Thermometer: Reliable Test, Measurement, and Inspection Solution by Sheppard Priest

This was delivered in the last hour. I've been suffering from Covid fever for 8 days and I can't get accurate results with my two old thermometers. Thought I'd switch to this one in hopes of more accuracy. Unfortunately, when I went to open it, we found that it already contained batteries. Strange considering they shouldn't be included. Also, these were Rayovac batteries, which in my experience have never been in products. I went ahead and tried using it, it gave me three temperature results ranging from 79°F to 89°F. Then it beeped at low battery. Looking at the instructions, it says that dead batteries can give inaccurate results. So we tried 3 other battery packs with similar results. As soon as I put the batteries in, the screen turned green like it was charging. Then I press the button to take the temperature and the low battery warning comes up and I can't even take a reading. We even tried the batteries in the flashlight and they worked fine there, but they said the battery in the thermometer was low. Apparently someone else had the same issue and sent it back with their leftover batteries and they just forwarded it to me. All 3 in our household are Covid positive. We really need a working thermometer. I certainly can't exchange this now as we are in quarantine and I don't want to send it back while I'm ill for fear others will handle it and it will just be 'recycled' to another buyer.
