I measured my foot at 23cm. According to the instructions, I should get a 6.5. Following other reviews, I went up half a size, fairly confident, as I have work shoes with American sizing which fit perfectly and are a US size 7. I put them on and super snug fit! A little too snug on my left foot, my poor middle toe. However, I band-aided up and carried on. After a few times out walking (once so far in the rain and yes they are waterproof, my main reason for purchase) I broke them in and while I could never wear thick socks they are now pretty comfortable and I am band-aid free.They are still a snug fit, were I to purchase again, I might go up another half size, my toes do touch the inside of the shoe, but no longer painfully, so, happy with the purchase and I recommend you measure BOTH FEET!
