The micro-USB connector to the USB-C output allows my power meter to read the charger's output.

That gives me a good idea of the performance of the USB chargers and cables that are stacked here. The charging capability depends on the voltage, voltage stability and current supplied. I use these adapters to determine which chargers to keep and which to throw away. I have a power supply that only has a micro USB output. With this adapter I can measure its actual performance.
