I bought this to use so I don't have to search the customer's car to find the key. When I used it I found that the socket was stuck and didn't slide all the way through and when I undid the tabs I had to screw in some so I could wiggle the socket off the tab. I contacted the seller and said I have weird ears so they don't fit. When I looked at how it hung, I found that I could wiggle in all but one direction. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the nest was oval. Then I took the vise and carefully put it in and tightened it about 90 degrees so it was tight. Do this a few times and then tap it with a hammer. Then I found that the eyelet was fully seated and I was having a hard time sticking to the eyelet. In the end it worked for me, but not without my own effort to get in shape. The nut is thinner than the original key but should not be truly oval. One star off because the seller was unhelpful and another star because I had to fix a mismanufactured product.
