Having recently subtracted pulse wave velocity on the Nokia Body Cardio scale (one of the reasons I bought the damn thing) I was looking for another device that PWV give me could. I tried iHeart but it was sporadic with values and not very reliable as far as I could tell. The MOCAHeart seems to match the readings I got with the Nokia scale exactly. Of course, MOCA doesn't give you the actual PWV in milliseconds, but the MOCA scale, which is normal or above normal readings in ms. With the scale I had an average normal value (8ms) and with MOCA I have an average normal value of 2.5. So I think it works well. I believe the negative reviews could be because the device was marketed as a blood pressure monitor, but they removed that part from the app and assigned heart rate, SPO2, and PWV to it. Good thing based on my experience with other devices that worked and claimed the same thing. They sucked on the BP. To do this, hold the cuff or wrist. sooooo. SPO2, HR and PWV are accurate for me with a light tap of each thumb on the device. (The help topic says to use the same downward pressure as you would swipe on your phone. I have an iPhone X + Apple Watch and haven't had any issues with the app or the device. Thumbs up for what you can do is put Thumbs down for a good PWV indicator.
