This machine is great, it comes with everything it promises. However, there was a HUGE bug that drove my excitement to the brink. After reading the manual and making sure everything worked on this machine, I lowered the steering rack. BIG MISTAKE! Apparently, this model has a defect in the feed pawl: after lowering, there is a chance that you will not be able to raise it again. I've tried everything from changing the needle, bobbin, thread to trying to pull it back up manually by following some of the instructions in the article. Nothing works. Too bad I didn't know it was defective before spending $300 on it. If you buy this, for the love of craft and all things fancy, DO NOT drop the feeder. You'll probably never get him to come back. I'm sending mine back for a full refund. I will buy a different model or brand. Really freaked out about that.
