Do not buy this bow tie and suspenders set if you are buying for a child. We bought for a 9 year old and the bow tie looked like something out of a clown costume as it was quite large on him. But suspenders fit. We also ordered red because we thought it looked like dark red. The suspenders are a respectable red, but the bow tie is definitely as bright and clownesque as it gets. We DO NOT recommend this product to those who are purchasing a child's bow tie.
