Yes it's a Dove soap but it's unscented as the description says. I've read a lot of reviews complaining about the smell, it kind of smells like crayon but it's just the soap ingredients (fats and oils). Most of the added fragrances irritate people's skin, so it is a sensitive skin. unscented soap. I know I'm repeating this, but it's annoying to see reviews from people who haven't read the description. It takes a little getting used to in use as you get used to the added fragrances, but it still binds oil and dirt and washes them away like any other soap. And a fraction of the chalky smell from it doesn't linger on you, you're just cleaned and not perfumed. That's all.
