We love this product! It's a beautiful natural color that automatically makes the room calmer. It wasn't difficult to put together and I think it only took us about 15 minutes. Holds many books. depending on the size of the book. I think we usually have about 30 books at a time. It's also very durable. I was afraid it would tip over with too many books, but it didn't even rock. We bought this for my 3 year old son who used to use his sister's bookshelf. He was very excited and proud to have his own bookshelf. This bookshelf makes it easy for him to see each book and decide which one to read instead of stacking them all. It also allows him to put the books away easily. This is just a great product in every way. My youngest child participates in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library so will soon need a bookshelf of their own and I plan to purchase this product again.
