Review on Gaoye Blocking Computer Eyeglasses Gradient by Kevin Urena

Great design but not very functional

I like the way they look; This is honestly what I've been looking for for a very long time. so nice. I usually wear triprogressive lenses, they are much better than bifocals for several reasons. But I gave up that luxury for them and thought I could get used to bifocals if they were any good. I've spent a few weeks doing this and it's just not possible. The area covering the "reader" part is not well spaced. So I can only really use this feature when I'm sitting and reading. They are not possible in a grocery store or other activity (which sounds redundant). The far field is quite distorted, which unfortunately, combined with the above, makes them completely useless. I will have to return. When I realized it was Gaoi, I wasn't surprised. I realized that I had ordered other models from them a few years ago (also very cute) but had to return them for the same reasons. They just don't work. I've only found one brand (and I've tried them all) that actually works with all three lenses (near, far, and mid transition/computer). I will not list this brand here because it seems unfair. However, I want Gaoye to take her technology and apply it to her frames. This (unmentioned) brand is also cheaper than Gaoye and has a cute cat eye shape, so it's definitely possible to make it a more functional product! I just really want to change my style right now. I wear them too long stylistically. And that means a lot :)
