It's ok and I've been able to use it successfully for my headboard project. However, I made some modifications. As other reviewers have pointed out, using the little blue button to manually connect the two pieces is inefficient and the buttons don't stay together. So I covered the button with fabric, placed it in the button maker, applied a dab of glue to the back, pressed the back of the button against the back, covered it with the other part of the button maker, and then pressed the buttons together with pliers. It worked great and I only had to pry one button out of several packs of ready-made buttons. My other advice is
