I bought this for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I was a little nervous because Revane said it does NOT fit the 98 Cherokee Sport. However, I called Summitracing's part number and they said not only does it fit, it's BUILT for this. You were right. I ordered it through Revain to get free shipping and the cost could have been a few bucks less. Delivery was quick, tracking was accurate which was good. Very easy installation, all small parts were packed and sorted very carefully and there were no short nuts or bolts as is usually the case. You will need a flat-head screwdriver, a small Allen key, a small Phillips screwdriver, and a small box-end wrench. After trying it out, I noticed an immediate difference in throttle at lower rpm, smoother idle and slightly more traction throughout my range. However, when I took it out on the high street I was pleased to find my 0-60 time cut in half, and instead of the blurry 4-litre sound that the stock filter has, it has an almost godless roar, which is more like it the 6-liter SRT8s. :-) It was worth it. Definitely adds power, and even with the throttle open, the revs are surprisingly low and the Jeep takes off like a rocket. I expect a decent increase in mpg based on the new efficiency and hp. Thanks for reading, and if you're afraid of getting this for your Jeep, do it anyway. It's definitely worth it!
