The animals here are wonderful (Chris Hart of course) and the steps are well explained both in the book and in the instructional videos you can find online. If you're someone who's intimidated by the idea of drawing things that look like real life, this would be a great place to start. The step-by-step instructions make the process easy and the tips included will give you peace of mind. There is also extra paper at the end of the book to practice your drawings on. Overall this was a great purchase that will help my son learn more than if he just tried it on his own.
