The computer I have now will never be able to play 4K games at 60Hz. With the pandemic still raging, having a "home office" is helpful, but I'm not going to go out and spend hundreds of dollars setting it up. I happened to have an 8 year old 1080p monitor in my garage that still worked but used the slightly outdated DVI format. This cable allowed this old lady to get back to work. It was plug and play: it just gave me more space to work. Now I can display three boring spreadsheets instead of two! My cat likes to chew on it too and while I wish she would stop I can't bring myself to completely disagree with her opinion. So take it how you want I guess.
