I received this blender for Mother's Day and I love it. It is very well made without being obscenely heavy. The attachments are not heavy, but more than adequate for everyday use. One of my favorite things is that the whisk attachment mixes all the dry ingredients well. I made pudding in it yesterday and there were no dry pockets on the bottom. I would recommend using the spatula attachment if you are doing anything thicker than liquids. It's also relatively quiet for such a powerful engine. I would definitely buy it again or recommend it to someone else.
