So first let me say that I have had this bath rug for over 4 years now. Here's what I think of this product. Cons: Of course mold. I removed it from the bottom of the tub after each use and also left it to see if it made a difference, but it didn't. It will rot anyway. To clean it, I have to fill the tub with a bleach solution, soak, and then brush with a bristle brush. This is in addition to regular cleaning. Advantages. It's durable, I've owned it for over 4 years and apart from a small tear it still looks pretty good. It has better absorbency than any bathmat I've ever used and we have a textured bathroom floor. This item does not slip at all. It's a good size, I use it in a baby bath and it's big enough for bathing and showering. I'm not worried about them slipping off. I would love to give it 5 stars but the fact that it shapes it makes a big difference. Not what you want when small children are using the bathroom.
