My daughter is an Irish CRN dancer and is growing like weeds. This is her second pair of Ryan & Odonnell hard shoes. I paid $150 at Revain last year for a higher ranked pair that were quickly surpassed. When this new style came out this month, I was intrigued by the difference in price. She wore them once and tore off a piece of the black trim around the toe. That being said, the midsole has more cushioning than an expensive pair, and the tiny notch is easy to polish. Despite the small thing, she says they're very comfortable and so I think it's worth a try. Stiff shoes don't come cheap, and as your feet grow, any savings are worth trying. Satisfied so far.
