. I'm a professional driver and the heels of my ring fingers get irritated when I grip the steering wheel. I've tried many products, including medical tape, and I still have a hard time keeping my skin from blistering and then exfoliating in layers. I cut off the tips of the thumb, forefinger, and pinky gloves to use my tablet computer and do paperwork. It works for me and really saves my skin. They hold the steering wheel with a wonderfully sticky feel, yet clean. I bought them a size smaller for a good fit and it works well. On the other hand, I leave the ring and "bird fingers" and the tips aren't as "neat" as I'd like - there's a little extra skin. That's better than too tight. The edges of the fingers I cut off will wear and curl a bit, but they're not designed for that. I expect them to last three or four months, which is quite reasonable for long days of non-stop riding in any weather.
