Why it hurts to use: First, the cutting blades don't open wide enough for smooth movement from the side of the handle, and I have long fingers and arms fit. To get the blades to cut more than half an inch at a time I had to open the thing all the way. Second, I've always struggled with the pen. So if I were willing to cut off 1/4 inch at a time, it would still hurt after a few inches of flimsy sheet metal or wire mesh (thin stuff!). great snippets I've had before and for not reading bad rated reviews. Reviewers generally like it, but a few low-rated reviews were about the same as mine.
