Reliably holds a charge for 3 days. I went 5 days and it was close to needing a fee. It has an alert tone, then a vibration, and then what I call a "zap button". It took her 2 or 3 days to figure it out and I have little to no problems. When she sees me taking control, she immediately starts behaving. At first the sound meant nothing to her, now it does. She doesn't like the vibrator and certainly not the discharge. Like I said, when she sees me start picking a controller, she immediately starts behaving.
