i have been using Dell EMC for about a year now. I have a Dell EMC VNX8500 with iSCSI in a DMi. The system provides failover capabilities and allows for quick recovery if any component fails. I was able to migrate from a legacy SAN to a Dell EMC VNX8500 with iSCSI and experience minimal downtime. No real downsides to this system. I would look at this system if you are needing better storage space. We have been seeing a 30% improvement in data storage with this system. We can now store more data and perform analytics on the data. I like the simplicity. It has been easy to set up, easy to manage and easy to use. The only thing I dislike is the price. You can't get a cheap SSD. You have to get a pricey one. I would not recommend a cheap SSD to this product. It is expensive. It's not worth the money. I would rather just go with an HDD. I have been able to use this product for a few months now. I have not had any issues with it. I was able to save a lot of time. I was able to have a simple and easy to use system.
