I really like that this fan has 4 speeds, and the lowest speed is very quiet. Moves plenty of air for me at the lowest speed esp for use in an office or living room environment (small-medium space, temp <80 degrees)I find most fans much too loud to use in an office / workplace environment - very distracting. Most fans seem to prioritize moving as much air as possible - that's fine for applications when a lot of air movement is wanted. I prefer much prefer this fan for office or living room use because it provides the option of quieter operation. Recommended!
