Very happy with my purchase. Works exactly as explained. 6 AAA batteries can grind salt and pepper to the size you want. The best part is the cool look and touch it brings to our kitchen. Anytime people come to us we like to see their reaction when they try the shakers, it's a topic of conversation. Last thing there is with a base to keep the shakers from flying. Good idea folks!
