I really thought I would buy an inferior drawing pen to share with my kids, but to my great surprise Tooli-Art pens replaced my Posca in the studio. Others have mentioned splashes. I find that's not a problem with Tooli-Art unless you're painting on rough stone, in which case each pen can spatter a bit. I love that the dots aren't too thick and allow me to draw both small and large areas. Tooli Art pens blend very well and are more opaque than other brands of pens I have used. I find Tooli pens more reliable when I'm nearing the end of my work and really don't want to mess up a drop of paint that spills like has happened with another brand I've used. I have an order for a large group of stones to be made quickly and I wouldn't take chances with another brand. I'll be doing a pencil lesson soon and am seriously considering using Tooli Art pens. Haven't tried them on anything other than stones but will be testing them on glassware as I have a request. I will write another review after trying it on other surfaces. Update: I tried a simple mug design and put it in a cold oven, turned it on at 375 and let it sit for 45 minutes, then turned off the oven and let the mug sit until the oven cooled and rotated. Big. I've attached a photo of a brief outline of a cat on a mug (it was just a test). Two of us ran our fingernails down the left thigh of that line, and it didn't scratch!
