Review on Maxpedition Janus Extension Pocket Black by Jason Gopinath

Ultimate Small Kit Bag

I got this as an extra bag for my Jumbo Versipack. I removed the extension strap and put it back on just to see which way I like best. I will not remove the extension band. Like the Jumbo Versipack, this one is fairly stiff nylon, but that's a plus because test of violence after test of violence, these things just take what you've got, name a jack, ask if you're done, offer you a trophy for entering and supports its promotion. Combined with any Maxpedition bag, this is a great bag for a personal first aid kit. I can bring band-aids, various ointments and creams, gloves, a Mylar blanket, lip balms, over-the-counter pain relievers, Vizine, an Off Bite and Sting stick, a glow stick, and even a small bottle of Purell hand sanitizer. Mine is packed, but I somehow manage to hide something else here and something else there. It's like a first aid kit in a clown's car. In fact, I could only find one negative point, and it wasn't even enough for me to deduct a star, but I wanted to mention it. I pulled off the small elastic cord that came with the kit and pulled it through again. I just didn't like the way it was set up. That's really all. If you're looking for something that can be used for a small survival kit, a first aid kit, or even something to store small travel essentials, you can't go wrong with this piece.
