An 8 inch cup is good.
First I accidentally ordered the Dublin set but the 4oz cup was too small so I ordered the Shannon with the 8oz cup. This set works for me, but it's VERY heavy. I have had many decanters but this one is unusual, the decanter is larger and heavier. The first photo compares two mugs, Shannon and Dublin. The second compares the size of two decanters.
