Great product if only used for 1 to 4 year olds

Check out the 9 pictures I took to help you. As the first person to review this product, I felt a great obligation to review it carefully because if you're like me you've spent a lot of time researching the options here and worried about getting it for your child or grandchild to use. HOW: * Circulation vents that are also less likely to grow slightly if moisture somehow gets in. * Soft and cushioning, but does not flatten out completely under weight. * A fire retardant fiberglass coating is safer than fire retardant chemical additives. IF it's under another cover so when you wash the outer zipper cover you're not exposed to pieces of fiberglass that irritate your skin, become airborne and/or scatter everywhere and it has that cover! In a close-up of the mattress without the zippered cover and with the light from the window, you can see small touches that look like thick gauze under the thin outer cover, that's the fiberglass sheeting encased within. And when backlit, you won't see tiny shards, just a small wavy filament. sells a lot of quality baby bedding and they have a website. It is waterproof on the outside and softly lined. Each of the three sections has its own long zipper. Keep your finger inside when closing the zipper to avoid snagging the zipper. It's metal, not plastic, so be careful. * The foam did not outgas at all and had very little compression effect. In any case, I gave it a few days to fill it out before removing the cover to wash and making this review. DON'T LIKE: * There is no label on the mattress itself stating what the foam is made of. I thought it was against US law. * Was sent in a clear round thick plastic sleeve that was a bit small but folded tightly as one corner was so creased and folded that it took two days to fix the package and even after several days, have two pieces a slight inclination towards them. However, it may disappear with use. * The three pieces are not the same in thickness, length and width, although they are very close, but the worst thing is that the overall dimensions of thickness, length and width are each about an inch shorter. declared width. That's my biggest complaint. *As it is slightly smaller than advertised and slightly different in sizing, the fit in the Pack N Play leaves gaps in both length and width (see two images showing this). Also, what I didn't know is that the inside corners of my Pack N Play aren't rounded, so the corners with the rounded mattress corners have even more wiggle room than if it were actually the advertised length and width. If your inner corners are rounded it will fit better than mine. OVERALL VERDICT: My opinion is that this is GOOD for toddlers and preschoolers BUT NOT FOR INFANTS under 1 year old, however the company has no product label or literature or statement showing such caution. A first-year baby really needs the firmness and snug fit that the original Pack N Play softboard provides to reduce the risk of choking, and that's why they say not to use mattresses. But since the child is older and heavier like a toddler, I would like to give a small pillow to sleep with grandma and when camping or other travel, and for this purpose, a little smaller size should not create small gap problem for me and I keep and love this wearable product for all of the above preferences.
