Didn't protect iPhone X

Don't buy if you have an iPhone X, I usually buy my phones every 4 years. I bought my new iPhone X and immediately put this case on because I had it on my iPhone 6 and it worked well. In less than two weeks I had my phone in my pocket, I was reaching for my keys and the phone fell out. I had no idea the back of the phone was smashed until I went to the Apple Store and they removed the case. I called customer service and explained my disappointment that they could only refund the $16 that was transferred to the Otter Box!
