I did a lot of research to find an upgrade for my touchscreen I bought just 2 1/2 months ago (Ankeway) that wasn't too expensive, had Apple CarPlay and sounded decent. When it arrived I was initially hesitant to install it due to the ridiculously short USB and Apple CarPlay interfaces, but I went along with it since it was in my possession. I'm glad I did! Despite the aforementioned shortcomings (no pun intended), I was pleasantly surprised and then IMPRESSED by the sound quality, user interface, and available features of this device. The presence of Apple CarPlay is a sufficient bonus, but the sound quality this little device produces is nothing short of EXCELLENT. The user interface is easy to use, navigating between screens and functions doesn't interrupt the listening experience, and the deck's overall simplicity and responsiveness its touchscreen put it in a class of decks with significantly higher prices. AGs of the same or lesser specs have lasted for decades. There are some thin and obvious features of this unit that draw attention: this deck's higher power output is a feature that allows you to use this deck with less amplification gear for your front speaker configuration (audiophiles aside), and the EQ is more refined and offers a wide range of tone controls. Of course, you will find those who think that my rating of this device might be much higher than the top for their taste, but then again, don't spend $100 or more for a well-known brand that offers fewer features and isn't as good sound like this deck is for bucks! device, and if you carefully choose an amp that can handle 80W of peak input power, you'll be fine as long as you don't target the competition. Well worth the money and I love the fact that it has a subwoofer. RCA output.
