Review on 🐭 Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Chinchilla Food Mix: Premium Nutrition for Happy Chinchillas by Kevin Hawkins

I have used a different food for my chinchilla but this time I bought him Sunburst. He likes this food very much. It includes healthy treats and hay that encourage foraging. This is important for chinchillas because they are so smart. Some people like to keep their chins straight and narrow, feed them only pellets, and severely limit treats. I pretty much think that life is short and needs to be filled with happiness and things that get interesting. My chin deserves more than boring old eggs. My chinchilla will be 14 years old next month. For the first 9 or 10 years of his life I only fed him pellets, usually 1 and no more than 2 raisins a day. Now I feed him a feed ration. I can't say he's doing badly. I think it's better for him than the pellets alone because it gives him a chance to look forward to each day. This food is nutritious and good for his mental health.
