Wow, if you haven't changed the oil pan gasket on your R53 you will definitely want to do that (and the CPS O-ring). I had an oil leak that covered the underside of my engine with old oil and dirt. Replaced those two things and the arrow no longer leaks oil. This pad is also very good and comes on a piece of thick cardboard so it doesn't break in transit. And it has those great alignment clips to help hold the gasket in place during reinstallation!
