This SSD is great and of course works as advertised. I was wary of their migration software because it's never worked very well in the past, but I figured Intel could probably get it right. Boy was I wrong. I migrated fine with their stuff but shortly after that I had trouble activating Windows and soon after that my computer was shutting down quite often due to errors. I ended up not being able to boot at all, so I reinstalled Windows on my old SSD (of course I deleted it after I found Windows was installed correctly) and moved the contents back to my old SSD. Then I just did a clean install and now everything is working fine. The maintenance software seems to be working fine, although there are about 20 log files being created in my C: directory from time to time, which is concerning. Overall, the SSD is very fast, but I'd advise anyone buying one to just do a clean install of Windows and manually move your files or something. Interestingly, the SSD boosted my Windows Experience Index to 8.1/9.9 (Windows 8) compared to a SATA II SSD which was 7.4/7.9 (Windows 7), which is actually a percentage decrease. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure it's faster. I haven't done any other tests yet.
