any tips, tricks or methods to maintain a unit that doesn't light up, we bought 12 about 10 months ago for 3 people to use and expect like most they will only be 3- 6 Month Last Butane guns last about the same after going through the first week. It's a love hate relationship with all brands though and we've probably been through 100-200 guns and 4-5 different brands in 10 years and they're all great until they just sell out or never seem to sell out right and fail almost immediately. $35 is worth the risk of loss for the benefit you get when everything works right. Although we keep backups when we go to work because you just don't know when that gun will break. If we forget wired, it can be extremely frustrating to drive 20 miles and not have a gun, and there are no hot glue gun shops nearby. Are you just losing your mind at this point and want to pulverize a small piece of butane $& @;? in a million pieces. that's part of the hate. But when things work out the way they're supposed to, it can hit your mom and you'll find excuses to justify why it's okay just to keep the relationship going. That's part of love. So if we could find ways to maintain them that would be great, even if it only works 25% of the time it's better than nothing! A piece of advice: when the gas is in it is cold, not under as much pressure as when it is warm. So if there are ignition problems immediately after filling, put it in the sun or in a hot car and it's likely to catch fire right away. I only heard about this in the last few years. But once it's toast, it's pretty much done. We have a lot of guns because we don't remember which ones are broken and which ones work, which can also be frustrating when you have 6-12 guns and don't know until you've tested each one. , and who has time for that in this crazy business world!
