I have very poor fine motor skills. The kid who had trouble drawing lines? It was me. Cut a straight line with scissors? Yes, I'm pretty bad. We are preparing for a trip to Japan, and I realized that in order not to starve, I need to use chopsticks. I've watched videos and people have helped me but I still don't get it. I bought it and immediately felt that I could learn. After eating them exclusively for a week or two, I tried regular chopsticks again and was able to eat on my own. Hooray! I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat pasta and rice, but at least I can eat something and I'm grateful for that.
