I thought I had to buy a new windshield. Poor maintenance by the previous owner resulted in the wipers scratching the windshield. It didn't seem to work at first, but the trick is to use a small amount of the product and apply it directly to the windshield rather than using an applicator. Use 4-5 inch circular motions to move the product around and into the area. Eventually, it will begin to dry and dissolve. At this point I used a damp glass cloth to remove any dried product residue. I then wiped the windshield down with the towel provided. I started the second layer. Each time/shift took about 10 minutes. It took 4 coats and significant scratches were minimized to almost invisible. And that in direct light. Now they are invisible under normal lighting. Quite simply, the product does what it promises. just takes a little time 30 minutes or so.
