This collar is amazing. I had previously purchased another collar with the same specs but with a shock but didn't want to use the shock. I had to refund the money for it because I realized that the way the remote control is made makes it easy to accidentally get electrocuted. This collar is exactly what I needed and I am not worried about accidentally electrocuting my dog. I've been working on training my dog since I had him when he was 9 weeks old but there were some behaviors that I found difficult to train. This collar is great for getting rid of this behavior. For example, every time I took him to the backyard, he would try to find small twigs and eat them. I had to keep watching him, and I kept going upstairs and literally opening his mouth and pulling out pieces of the stick so he wouldn't swallow them. Even as he did this and corrected it, he still turned and did it over and over again. If he starts eating a branch with this collar on, all I have to do is hit the vibration, which is set to the lowest level, and he'll immediately drop it and won't try to pick it up again. I also had a hard time stopping him from chasing my cats who wanted to play with them. He's still a puppy and too rude to let him do this, but he didn't listen to me when I tried to get him to stop. With this collar on, he'll immediately stop messing with cats and just behave. I can't recommend it more highly.
