The adapter works as described but the manual is not very clear about setting the adapter mode. What you need to do to set/change mode is as follows: 1. Plug SSDs into Adapter2. Remove ALL 3 jumpers from positions 1-63. Set the jumper to SET-GND4. Turn on the adapter for about 10 seconds5. disconnect from power 6. Now set the jumper to SET-NC7. turn on the adapter again for about 10 seconds8. unplug 9. Now set the mode jumper to position 1-6 (RAID0/1/JBOD/SPAN)10. Set the jumper back to SET-GND11. Turn on the adapter for about 10 seconds12. Turn off the power supply 13. Set the jumper back to GND-NC14. Turn on the adapter, now it works in the mode you selected with jumpers 1-6. This is much more complicated than the instructions in the manual, but if you don't follow the procedure, the adapter will malfunction and recognize/choose another mode or not recognize the SSD at all.
