But I threw away many other boards to get to this one if you need this type of product.

It has everything you need for ANY IDE SATA replacement, high quality PCB and jumpers to select any standard hard drive configuration (master/slice/cable selection) Even works with OG Xbox with unleashx installed (2TB hard disk drive installation). Working but with limitations

The adapter works as described but the manual is not very clear about setting the adapter mode. What you need to do to set/change mode is as follows: 1. Plug SSDs into Adapter2. Remove ALL 3 jumpers from positions 1-63. Set the jumper to SET-GND4. Turn on the adapter for about 10 seconds5. disconnect from power 6. Now set the jumper to SET-NC7. turn on the adapter again for about 10 seconds8. unplug 9. Now set the mode jumper to position 1-6 (RAID0/1/JBOD/SPAN)10. Set the jumper back to…

Ability to swap/replace

First a flimsy circuit board mount. It only supports the circuit board on the front of the metal case where the connectors are located. Second, my bitrates were legitimate (probably the main reason I didn't like the product at all), whirring old-school HHD moo. Even in a striped RAID configuration, my transfer rate was 4 kbps. I wasn't sure whether to cry or laugh. Third, I even had trouble formatting my two Crucial SSDs using Ether Diskpart or Win10's Disk Management GUI. It kept reporting…

Installs easily. However, it did not work when a SATA optical drive was connected for DVD/CD burning.

I wanted to replace my old IDE/PATA DVD/CD combo drive with a new optical drive that can read and write dual layer DVDs. Bought a LG Super Multi optical drive. The adapter is very easy to install. Just look at the photos. This is a really cool little device. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work with the LG SATA optical drive.
