First a flimsy circuit board mount. It only supports the circuit board on the front of the metal case where the connectors are located. Second, my bitrates were legitimate (probably the main reason I didn't like the product at all), whirring old-school HHD moo. Even in a striped RAID configuration, my transfer rate was 4 kbps. I wasn't sure whether to cry or laugh. Third, I even had trouble formatting my two Crucial SSDs using Ether Diskpart or Win10's Disk Management GUI. It kept reporting that the format failed no matter what raid configuration it was in. So I figured it might be a combination of my Crucial SSDs, so I tried Intel, Samsung, and another. All with the same bitrate. Crucial had 1 TB each. Intel 250GB each. Samsung 500Gb ea and WD 500Gb ea I ordered another 25S22M2NGFFR from StarTech which was of much better quality in terms of construction and speed. Speeds are maximum for SATA3.0 can perfotm. And also with better raid controller switches, not jumpers. If you are planning to buy this look for the 25S22M2NGFFR it has a way to dissipate heat due to the stainless steel coating and you can add 2 thermal straps to help heat dissipation (if you like it extreme). However, it works for me without add-ons.
