First of all, it took me a lot longer than stated to assemble personally. The screws are all hex and I didn't have a drill but I fitted them so maybe that helped. It's also very thin and light. Since it doesn't have more books on it than I have in the picture, it looks like it could tip over very easily. There were some small thin things in the kit that could be nailed to the wall to hold it up. There's no way I would have done that with the kids if I didn't like them. I don't know why I thought this thing was supposed to be better than the standard Walmart chipboard crap, but it's worse, if anything. Numerous worst parts are the instructions. just trash.
