This is my first review of a product or platform. I have a technical background and I consider myself and my friends capable of solving any electrical, electronic or mechanical problem. I recently replaced one of the toilet flush mechanisms as the old one was leaking due to a worn valve. Instead of buying a 5 to 10 valve, I decided to replace the entire system (month and a half ago) as the dual flush concept seems economical. After reading some reviews complaining about occasional leaks from this product, I followed the instructions very carefully during installation. While it's a good concept, the product isn't cutting edge. The toilet was standard at 1.6 gallons per flush, rather than the ultra-low model at 1.28 gallons per second. Regardless of the setting suggested in the installation guide, Quick Flush will not flush properly. When the kids started complaining, we started using a hard reset for everything. Then what's the point of a double flush? I do not know. But leave it anyway as I got rid of the old flushing system. But I discovered another real problem with this system while working from home a few days ago. It occasionally flushes out some water. At first I was confused by the noise made by the whistles at the same time. My house is very quiet as I will be alone at home and at work. At first I didn't understand why I accidentally heard the sound of the draining and filling. When I paid a little more attention to where it came from, next time it was from a newly installed toilet. As you can imagine I was disappointed. While acknowledging that the dual flush does not work properly, there is one issue that goes against the main motivation for purchasing this product. be economical. Now I have to buy a regular flushing system and ignore it as I can't even return it as I redesigned its packaging. This can be an issue with some elements of this product as it works for some. If you're willing to take a risk, which I honestly don't recommend, don't throw away your old system (if it still works) or at least the packaging of this product in case you need to return it.
