The perfect addition to my mix

As we mix most of our own soils, I gave this Akadama a try. So far I am loving it. It darkens up when wet so knowing when to water is easy. Added to our regular mix this was a perfect fit.

The Akadama soil may not be suitable for all types of bonsai trees
