First review. I recently installed them under the rear bumper of my truck, replacing some inexpensive long range halogen headlights. My direct view to the rear is blocked by the tailgate, so I tilted it more to the side. I really like the 60 degree wide beam. There is plenty of light directly behind the truck for loading and unloading, but the lighting on each side when reversing and turning is amazing. I was expecting a cheap body, but the aluminum body of these lights is pretty solid. In addition to what appear to be stainless steel mountings, there are also 4 pre-drilled threaded holes on the back of the case for other mounting options. My first concern was whether they would be waterproof and again I was pleasantly impressed with the case and the cable in particular. The wire is routed through a sealed rubber grommet and the hot and ground wires are bonded together within their protective sheath. In short, water ingress through the wiring is unlikely. Another note: each bulb uses only 1 amp of electricity (surprising for this amount of light). So if you are installing a pair I would recommend no more than a 5 amp fuse.
