These lights are bright! Impressive light output. I just bought them because I've always been interested in these reflectors and I'm glad I did. The spot is like a pencil ray and so bright that the bay appears faint. The image of the tide is quite bright if you don't compare it to a spot. The stain is just outrageous! I played with Baja design, Hella (played with various LED and hidden bulbs), diode dynamics. They are tuned with the current from diode speakers. The main difference between the expensive Baja and this lightbar is the radiation pattern. This spot is straight and straight. The Baja's design spot is quite wide and almost flooded, which works as both spot flood and close-up lighting. This light bar is for distance. I think the PWM (pulse width modulator) duty cycle is high enough that it doesn't flicker. That's one thing I've noticed with cheap and expensive bars, the cheap bars flicker when the car shakes. i love light I have way too many flashlights and have driven through a lot of off-road lights as well.
